Nature of light
Light (photons) are particles that produce expansion waves through the field or fluids for where these photons circulate
The speed of light only is C regarding to the focus or platform for where this is emitted

Friends, I put a brief summary on the nature of light proposed by my cosmic and atomic model. (Drawing)

1.- The first and basic point to point out is that the photons that make up light are small particles of matter and mass (about 10^-70 g) that have the same properties and behavior as all particles and objects that move through space.
And the main property is that of having relative and different movements with respect to each of these particles and objects with apparently random movement.

* Therefore, the relative and specific speed of light C, only occurs with respect to the focus or emission platform, but not with respect to the other random movements of the other particles and objects in the Cosmos.

2.- As a somewhat specific property, light is emitted by the magnetic fields of atoms at a certain speed C, very similar (but not the same) for each of the different classes (magnitude) of photons.

* However, here we should point out that the magnetic fields of the atoms that expel or emit particles, will do so at a higher speed the smaller the particle. For example, the photons will be faster, and the alpha particles will be slower.

So here we could point out a qualitative formula V = fm/M
(Velocity of emission = magnitude of the field / mass of the particle)

Therefore, we must state that light (photons) are only material particles, but because they move with great speed and inertia, they can produce waves in the fluids or fields through which they circulate.

Impact energy

Doppler effects; redshift, soundshift, inertiashift, impactshift, etc., means that the change (shift) of impact power between waves, particles and objects depends on the relative speed that they carry between them.
That is why light suffers these effects: Because its speed C is relative to other moving objects, and not CONSTANT as Relativity tells us.
